The Chauvet DJ Xpress 512S is a powerful USB DMX interface that lets you control your lighting fixture with the ShowXpress lighting software. It is compatible with both Windows® and Mac OS X systems with a live control app. This means that you can use it with a smartphone device.
The interface provides one physical DMX universe output (512 channels), and one additional ArtNet universe. You can also add extra universes easily by connecting an additional Xpress 512/1024 interface. The Show Xpress software can support up to six universes. The Xpress 512S is built into a compact aluminium housing and is completely BUS powered. This means that you don’t require an additional power supply. The Xpress 512S includes a USB IN with both USB and POWER status indicators. The opposing side features a 3-pin XLR DMX OUT offering 512 + 512 via Art-Net and a Refresh Rate of 40Hz. With the latest version of Show Xpress V9+, the Xpress 512S interface is hot-swappable and will automatically reconnect in seconds.
