The Shure Beta 52A is a high output dynamic kick drum microphone. Featuring a tailored frequency response designed specifically to cater for kick drums and other bass and low-frequency instruments. Providing a superb attack and”punch”, the Beta 52A delivers studio-quality sound even at extremely high SPL’s (sound pressure levels).
On top of that, the Beta 52A also includes a modified super cardioid pattern throughout its frequency range; insuring high gain-before-feedback and excellent rejection of unwanted sound. While the built-in dynamic locking stand adapter and integral XLR connector make installing the mic simple, particularly if your microphone is placed inside a kick drum. Keeping the microphone position fixed and resisting slipping; even when subjected to sharp blows and strong vibrations. Encased within a hardened steel mesh grille, protecting your Beta 52A from damage and wear commonly associated with the abuse of touring.
